It's All About the HEAT!

Rocket stoves are the ultimate in off-grid cooking, letting you cook on just about any fuel that burns. But not all rocket stoves are created equal.

The Vortex Rocket Stove takes off-grid cooking to the next level. Your fuel will go farther, last longer, burn hotter, and best of all, the heat level is adjustable!

The secrete is our innovative CoreFlow TechnologyThe stove first isolates the fire chamber with an inner sleeve. This creates an outer air gap that insulates the chamber just like a double pane window. Then, as the heat rises, concentric cones compress the heat column, intensifying your fire into a focused, powerful vortex.

So to start, the fire burns hotter, because escaping wood gas and carbon monoxide have the opportunity to burn in the fire chamber as the heat compresses through the cones. Traditional rocket stoves run much colder, and waste these valuable BTUs. Then, because there is no ability to compress and focus the heat, much of the heat they do generate escapes from the sides.

No other rocket stove matches the performance of the Vortex. Fuel is valuable, and difficult to collect. Maximize all of it with the Vortex Rocket Stove

Nobody Cooks Everything on High!
Most importantly, the Vortex is adjustable, similar to the way you would adjust the heat in a wood stove. All three sizes of the Vortex have airflow adjustment ports integrated into their base, with a lever to regulate how much airflow you allow your fire to consume.  Open them wide when you start your fire and get your food up to temperature. Then begin to close them down once your food begins to cook.

Our patented CoreFlow design delivers maximum BTUs from your fuel quickly and efficiently, then gives you complete control over the cooking temperature

There are three sizes. This version is the largest "Base Camp" size.

Vortex Backpack (Small)
 H"15in W"6.5
The fuel door is W"4.6

Vortex Campsite (Medium)
The medium is H"17.8in W"8.5
The fuel door is W"5.1in

Vortex Basecamp (Large)
The large is H"18in W"10.5
The fuel door is W"7.5in

The large comes with a reversible grate and grill or use with charcoal briquettes

All three of these stoves are extremely stable and can bear the weight of a large pot or frypan. How many people for whom you intend to cook should be the deciding factor in choosing which size is best for you, subject to availability.

All three of them will easily keep even the largest canner pot up to temperature and would be enough heat for a large still.

The best products for off-grid are to look to those who are currently living off-grid. Right now Turkish villagers are utilizing these stoves for all of their5 cooking needs. No matter how large or small your off-grid cooking needs, if you have a supply of wood, these stoves are about as good as you can get.
